Welcome! I am Dr. Taide Mier-Vera.

Do you find yourself burdened by life? You do not have to live a life of regret, pain, worry, sadness, and anger. Often, there is generational trauma, childhood wounds, and relationship problems that afflict us and keep us from being the best version of ourselves. The good news is that there is HOPE and tools that can help you heal. I invite you to begin a journey of healing and change so that you may start living an authentic and intentional life. My approach is to attend to the whole person (mind, body, soul). I also provide therapeutic techinques with Catholic faith-based counseling, upon the client's request.

Bio:
I am Dr. Taide Mier-Vera. A bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker focused on research, practice, and education to promote mental health. I have been helping children, youth, and adults in community mental health and school settings in Los Angeles and Orange County, California, for over 12 years. My approach is to attend to the whole person (mind, body, soul). My education, continuous training, professional experience, and missionary work have helped me develop cultural competence. I am passionate about learning about other cultures to understand others and their stories better. Furthermore, I am committed to ongoing training and education to provide evidence-based and top-quality services.
