Thank you for considering Christian Counseling of Texas. We specialize in providing counseling services exclusively for adult individuals. Please note that we don't offer counseling for children, teenagers, couples or families.

We provide professional counseling from a Catholic perspective to address spiritual, psychological, emotional, and mental health issues. Our approach is on identifying solvable problems, setting realistic goals, applying interventions, examining progress, measuring outcomes, and helping you accomplish your goals.

At Christian Counseling of Texas we are psychologically trained mental health professionals who integrate our knowledge, skills, and abilities with our Christian faith. Rest assured that your fundamental Catholic beliefs are valued.  We think blending scientific counseling and Christian counseling is a wonderful specialization because it's a match made in heaven.  We are experts in giving you the best of both.

My wife, Betsy, and I have run Rachel Ministries for over 20 years. I am a retired Acolyte.

Steven Kopor, MA, LPC-S, LCDC, BCPCC. Steven can help you build on your strengths and accomplish the changes you are committed to making.

Steven has presented at National conferences, and been interviewed on Christian television and Christian radio. He has several publications, most notably, a book titled, "Alcoholic Christians." He is working on his next book, tentatively titled, "The Lord Heals the Broken Hearted".
