Message from Therapist

Hello and thank you for stopping by my profile! My name is Stephen. I work with adults and adolescents. In my work, I prioritize first getting to know my clients so that I understand where you are in your journey and so I can walk alongside you. I use evidence-based therapy modalities to help my clients who experience anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, trauma, relationship challenges, suicidal ideation, low self-esteem, as well as other difficulties. I am also Catholic and studied Theology and Philosophy in college which deeply influences my understanding of life and can be integrated into our work together if you so desire.

I specialize in working with young men. I assist young men who feel a lack of direction or purpose and have a sense of dissatisfaction with their life. Do you experience loneliness or struggle with friendships or other relationships? Do you have struggles as a Catholic young man and have questions or doubts about God? Do you feel anxiety, depression, a lack of energy, hopelessness, disorganization, or have things you want to do but don't know how to achieve them? If you've experienced any of these, I'm so glad you stopped by my page. You're not alone, and in fact, I myself have struggled with these challenges and that's why I'm passionate about helping other young men through them. I have experienced these difficulties and others, but I have also experienced great joy, peace, and purpose so I know these are possible.

With my clients, I want to listen to your story and get to know you. I also want to give you space to process your thoughts or emotions that might be bottled up inside. Then I want to look with you about who you are, who you want to be, what gets you excited, what questions about life are you wrestling with and what do you want to change. We will talk about these things together and I will help you to overcome your struggles and find peace, fulfillment, and healing.

If you want to learn more about me and my work, you can check out my website with the link above. If you are interested in meeting with me, I'd be happy to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my work and I hope to meet you soon.
