I love seeing people overcome struggles and look back on their life and say that things have gotten better. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, trauma, difficulties at work, self confidence issues, conflicts in your family life or many other areas, I can help. I have 15 years of experience working in pastoral ministry with all ages. I have walked alongside teens, adults and families through their struggles and triumphs.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with Lumin Counseling. Our clinic focuses on a holistic view of the human person. We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR to help people experience real healing and freedom. I am passionate about helping individuals, and I also work with couples.
I am able to incorporate faith into your counseling sessions upon request. If you are exploring therapy, or you want to talk about what is going on in your life, send me a message and we can set up a free 20-minute phone conversation.
At Lumin Counseling, we strive to instill hope and foster healing for individuals impacted by trauma, utilizing expert therapy methods. With a dedication to evidence-based, holistic therapeutic approaches, we guide our clients in overcoming emotional and psychological challenges. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and transformative therapy environment where clients can experience the restorative benefits of professional counseling. By building resilience, clients can reclaim a renewed sense of purpose in their lives, emboldened by their therapeutic journey.
“And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
JN 1:5
With this foundational belief, our journey at Lumin Counseling began with a mission to reflect God’s love, compassion, and wisdom in our work with individuals and families in need. Our founder, Stephen Duraney, experienced firsthand the transformative power of faith-based counseling in his own life. In 2019, Stephen established Lumin Counseling with the vision of creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals, couples, and families could find hope, healing, and encouragement.
