Have you ever felt numb, jaded, or stuck in the same patterns? Do you want to break free from these patterns, grow to understand how they developed in your own unique story, and learn how to create new and lasting ways to live? I want to help you find healing and freedom, whether it be from relational issues, grief, anxiety, experiences of physical, emotional, or sexual trauma, adverse life experiences, loneliness, depression, shame, OCD, compulsive unwanted behaviors, and anything else.

I specialize in helping adults who are struggling with trauma, adverse experiences, codependency, and anxiety to find healing and freedom by establishing healthy boundaries and self-compassion, enabling them to live more fully and authentically.

Through trauma informed counseling and EMDR, we'll explore your story with compassion and curiosity, taking time to explore how the past effects your present, and learning resources that allow you to move beyond your past. I love to help my clients learn to regulate their emotions, work through negative beliefs, and find safety and connection again.

Often times starting on the journey towards greater healing can be challenging. The uncertainty of what healing looks like is scary, and that is ok. Whether you are wondering if counseling is for you, or if you know you want help but still have questions, don't hesitate to reach out as I would be happy to help in any way I can.

More About Peter Longoria, MS, Pre-Licensed Professional

I specialize in helping adults who are struggling with trauma, adverse experiences, codependency, and anxiety to find healing and freedom by establishing healthy boundaries and self-compassion, enabling them to live more fully and authentically. I am passionate about helping people overcome these obstacles in their lives that just get in the way. I want to help you find healing and freedom, whether it be from relational issues, grief, anxiety, experiences of physical, emotional, or sexual trauma, adverse life experiences, loneliness, depression, shame, compulsive unwanted behaviors, and anything else.

I utilize EMDR to help my clients learn resources that enables them to move from a state of hypervigilance, anxiety, or shutdown, to a state of calm and safety.

Often times, people can find themselves in a cycle of trying to fix themselves, and experiencing shame and hopelessness as they struggle to find something that works. From my own experiences, I firmly believe that counseling is a positive relationship in which the cycle of shame and trying to fix oneself can be broken.

Whether you are wondering if counseling is for you, or if you know you want help but still have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
