Everyone is made in the image and likeness of God. Sometimes, psychological wounds prevent us from experiencing God's love and mercy.  True healing integrates mind, body and spirit and allows the human person to love and be loved, thereby experiencing true joy.

I have extensive experience in treating various psychological issues. I am passionate in helping young adults evaluate barriers to their respective vocations. Additionally, I enjoy working with couples to identify issues that are causing conflict and preventing emotional closeness. 

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, it is an honor to accompany clients in the journey of healing.

Maribel Laguna is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Dallas, Texas and the owner of Cor Sacrum Counseling and Consulting, PLLC. She is also a board member of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association (CPA).

Maribel has over 14 years of extensive experience working with adults, adolescents, children, couples and families in a wide variety of issues. She has worked as a counselor in a variety of settings including the Dallas County Juvenile Detention Center, Genesis Women’s Shelter, and Dallas Independent School District Youth and Family Centers.

Ms. Laguna specializes in pre-marital preparation, marital counseling and vocational discernment.
