Perhaps your relationship has felt strained, and you just can't forget the past. Or maybe your mind won't shut off as you worry about the future. Life is stressful, and sometimes it can feel overwhelming. You've managed so far, but it's gotten more difficult recently. You don't need to shoulder this burden alone any longer. It is my job to help with the heavy lifting, and I am looking forward to hearing your story.

Sometimes we get stuck. We simply don't know what to say. No worries. With cognitive behavioral therapy, I can guide you to iron out your thoughts and understand your feelings. We can look back at childhood experiences that have shaped your beliefs and behavior. Together, we can utilize faith to explore existential topics such as suffering, death, and purpose, marriage, and identity. You will begin to breathe easier as you knit the pieces of your life together.

Over the course of our work together, I'll be your guide to gaining clarity, developing skills, and creating meaningful change. I often work with clients who have experienced traumatic events, difficult childhoods, and strained relationships. As a licensed professional clinical counselor, I am poised to help. In addition, I have specialized education for trauma-focused work and Catholic faith-based counseling.

To live life with zest, to the fullest, and with abundance. That is my goal for you as we work together. I know, life can bog us down, create pain, doubt, and confusion. I've been there, too. Healing is possible.

It's time to live life more abundantly.

Practice Info

Bio:
My name is Kim. My favorite part of therapy is that first session when I am blessed to meet people for the first time. My hope for you is that you will soon be living life more abundantly! I am a licensed mental health therapist with the state of Ohio (LPCC-S). I have been guiding clients through the counseling process for about a decade. Traumatic stress, relationship stress, difficult childhoods, adult children of alcoholics, grief, and life transitions are a few of my favorite topics to work with. Twice tragically bereaved myself, I can relate to painful circumstances. Faith can be helpful, and it can wound. Sometimes faith puzzles us and sometimes it comforts us. As a practicing Catholic, I see the world through a Catholic lens. While my practice is open to people of all faiths, I understand the values and issues that come up for Catholics living in the secular world. My office is a place Catholics can be understood.

I reside outside Coldwater, Ohio with my husband and Berne-doodle, Clyde. We have been blessed with three adult children and one grandchild.

If you're ready to explore how you can live life more abundantly, let's get started!
