More About Keoni Sablan, MS, LMFT, BC-TMHP

Serviam Counseling

Serviam - Latin for “I will serve” - was St. Michael the Archangel’s powerful response to Satan’s rebellion. This word embodies my mission to serve God and others through the gift of therapy. The word Serviam embodies a spirit of humility, obedience to God’s will, and selfless service that I hope to inspire in you. I hope that through our work, you can go and carry on this mission yourself, glorifying God through the service of others.

For Catholics, mental health cannot exist in isolation from faith. Thomistic Psychology teaches that grace builds upon nature, and true transformation happens when we integrate the truths of reason with the supernatural wisdom of God. Therapy without this foundation risks missing the mark. With a combination of proven cognitive-behavioral techniques and the Church’s timeless insights, I offer you a powerful framework for navigating life’s challenges while strengthening your relationship with God. This isn’t just about overcoming struggles—it’s about flourishing in the fullness of who you are created to be.

As a husband and father of two, I know firsthand the importance of strengthening marriages and families in today’s cultural battle. Sister Lucia warned that “the final battle between the kingdom of Christ and Satan will be over marriage and the family.” This battle isn’t hypothetical—it’s happening now. My mission is to equip you to thrive in your vocation and stand firm in a world that seeks to undermine the very foundations of your faith and family.

My journey also shaped this mission. Growing up, basketball was my passion, driving me to train early mornings and late nights, and ultimately to play at Franciscan University. There, God transformed my life, showing me how my love for sport could be a means of sanctification. As a former collegiate athlete, I understand the relentless pressure of perfectionism, performance anxiety, and the struggle to reconcile faith with competition. I work with athletes to reclaim their craft as a tool for God’s glory, helping them find joy and freedom in their pursuit of excellence.

You don’t have to settle for surface-level solutions or a disconnected life. At Serviam Counseling, I will help you confront your challenges, grow in virtue, and live boldly as the person God is calling you to be. True healing and transformation are possible—because when faith and reason unite, miracles happen
