Are you tired of looking for a 'quick fix' for your mental health with no results? I was too. I’m a Catholic therapist in Pittsburgh, PA and my passion is supporting women in their unique journeys toward mental well-being. I take a wholistic approach to treatment by incorporating aspects of Faith, physical needs, and mental health into sessions to create a plan that works best for each individual. If you're frustrated and overwhelmed with where to start, let me help! Together we can create a plan of action for your individual needs.
I believe tying our Faith and physical health into mental health counseling creates a deeper connection with God in our times of need. I can help point you in the right direction of which tools to use based on your needs through nutrition and lifestyle changes.
If you're interested in scheduling an appointment to get started, send me an email! I'd love to hear from you and help you in your therapeutic journey.
I'm an Associate Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I graduated from Slippery Rock with a BS in Psychology and a Masters from Johns Hopkins University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work primarily with children and women, focusing on women's healthcare, anxiety, depression, and relationships. As a woman, it is difficult to find providers that don't dismiss your concerns. I have had my fair share of doctors throw medications my way without addressing deeper issues about my body, mind, and spirit as a whole. Today's medicine has a time and place, but let's not forget about the bodies God has given us to take care of every day. Research has shown, the foods we put into our bodies, the way we speak to ourselves, our spirituality, and the lives we lead have a huge effect on our mental health and well-being. I look forward to working with you as we address all of these together!
