Message from Therapist

“We all need Jesus. But sometimes we need a therapist too.” 

I discovered this truth right out of college, when I found myself struggling and in need of help. Counseling profoundly impacted my life and relationships, and I don't know who or where I would be without it. 

I believe so wholeheartedly in the gift of therapy, I decided to pursue it as a profession. I am honored to offer my clients therapeutic accompaniment, in which we are invited to "remove our sandals before the sacred ground of the other", leading them "ever closer to God." (cf. Ex 3:5). [Evangelii Gaudium, 169, 170]

As I journey alongside my clients, I focus on building a relationship that fosters self-discovery, growth, and healing. With degrees in both Theology and Counseling, I strive to integrate theology and psychology in my therapeutic approach to help each of my clients discover deeper freedom, healing and fulfillment.

Bio:
Jenny Klement, MA, LPC-A is a therapist with Discoveries Christian Counseling Center in Coppell, TX, under the supervision of Diana Morin, LPC-S, LMFT. Jenny is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate through the State of Texas.

Jenny has worked in education and ministry for over 25 years, as a teacher, presenter, group facilitator, songwriter, musician, blogger, and author. An engaging speaker, Jenny has given talks and led retreats around the country. She is a seasoned wife and mom, with decades of experience mentoring teens, young single women, mothers, and married couples.

As a therapist, Jenny seeks to build relationships with her clients that foster self-discovery, growth, and healing. Her engaging, empathetic, and encouraging style allows Jenny to connect easily with others in a non-judgmental way and facilitate their goals for therapy.

Jenny sees adult clients, age 20+. Her experience includes anxiety, depression, identity/self-image, relationship issues, perfectionism, marriage, parenting, life transitions, trauma, grief, and care-giving. She recently completed her clinical internship at Sante Center for Healing, an inpatient treatment center, working with patients dealing with multi-diagnosis in the areas of addiction and mental health disorders.

With degrees in both Theology and Counseling, Jenny strives to integrate theology and psychology in her therapeutic approach to help her clients discover deeper freedom and fulfillment. She is member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the Catholic Psychological Association. Jenny has lived in the Coppell community since 1998, where she and her husband Kurt of 24 years have raised their five children, ages 14 to 23.
