I am a Clinical Psychologist in Tennessee. Both inside and outside of my office, I am a conservative, practicing Catholic who uses my faith to direct my work and relationships with others. I have over 13 years of experience working in an outpatient, private practice setting. I have worked with clients (of all ages) with a wide range of concerns including PTSD, depression, OCD, and compassion fatigue. I have worked primarily with combat veterans and victims of abuse/neglect/crime, but have also worked with survivors of medical trauma and natural disasters.
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I see our work together as that of a partnership; I may be the expert on psychological interventions, but you are the expert on you! My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, trauma-focused, and humanistic therapies. I believe in taking the negative experiences in our lives and using them to better the lives of others; that, to me, is true and complete healing. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique needs and desired outcomes.
It takes courage to confront those things that are the most frightening to you, and to seek a life outside of those experiences. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!
My scope of clinical psychology experience encompasses all ages and multiple diversities in the diagnosis and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral dysfunctions. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, trauma-focused, and humanistic therapies. I will tailor your treatment plan to meet your unique needs and desired outcomes.
