Message from Therapist

Welcome, I am happy you have made it to this point!

Though there is a diminishing stigma with seeking mental health treatment, it is still a huge step to decide to seek the help you are needing.

I believe that the most key aspect of a successful treatment is the therapeutic relationship. There must be a level of trust and comfort shared if goals are to be met. In order to help you decide if I am a good fit for you, I’ll tell you a bit about me. I have extensive experience in counseling including experience in substance use treatment and mental health treatment. I have worked with adults, children, and teens.

I particularly work with adults and adolescents on many issues involving:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Trauma
  • ADHD
  • Emotional regulation issues
  • Relationship Issues

In my practice, I utilize a blend of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.

I specialize in addressing the unique challenges faced by teenagers. My passion for supporting young people during this critical stage of their development drives my approach, which is rooted in empathy, understanding, and respect. Having completed advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Adolescent Psychology, I bring a specialized skill set to my practice. I am deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where teenagers feel truly heard and understood. My goal is to help them navigate the complexities of their emotions and relationships, while empowering them to build resilience and a positive self-image. I am also experienced in working collaboratively with parents, schools, and community organizations to foster a holistic support network that surrounds each young person with the care and guidance they need.
