My main goal is to help each client feel safe and comfortable in the therapeutic environment so the healing process can be as natural and organic as possible. Whether we are unpacking trauma or discussing strategies to cope with other mental health concerns or working on developing more meaningful relationships, the focus will always be on moving through challenging transitions together. As a devout Catholic, I take a faith-based approach to counseling to incorporate the love of Jesus Christ and the principles of the Catholic faith.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I strive to provide individualized treatment based on the unique history and needs of each person who walks through my door. I aim to empower clients to take ownership of their mental health goals, utilizing modalities such as EMDR and cognitive therapies. I also pray with my Christian clients in therapy sessions to invoke the power of the Holy Spirit to be present for spiritual understanding and healing.
