Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
As a mental health counselor, my approach is deeply rooted in compassion, curiosity, and conviction of your inherent worth. Drawing inspiration from the Fofoti tree, with its enduring strength and graceful resilience, I help clients connect with their inner strength, cultivating roots of stability even in life’s most challenging moments. I encourage individuals to trust their personal journey, move forward with patience, and have faith in their ability to learn, heal, and flourish!
Believing that true transformation comes from a holistic understanding of mind, body, and spirit, I integrate evidence-based therapeutic modalities informed by a Christian-Catholic understanding of the human person to support clients in exploring and processing their emotions, building resilience, and finding peace. In this non-judgemental space, clients are invited to release self-judgment, challenge negative beliefs, and break free from harmful habits, while learning to foster positive relationships, trust in themselves, and experience joy through authentic self-expression.
I recognize that each person’s path to healing is unique. In all sessions, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel seen, heard, and supported in their journey toward wholeness, rooted in love and personal dignity. By the end of our work together, I want you to feel confident, grounded, equipped, and at peace with the next steps in your life.
With a deep faith in the power of hope, perseverance, and connection, I view every therapeutic journey as an opportunity to tap into the innate healing potential within each person. As the roots of the Fofoti tree anchor it firmly in the earth, I am committed to nurturing each client’s growth, helping them develop the enduring strength and resilience needed to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and grace.
I look forward to working with you. I offer online virtual appointments only and a free consult to ensure we’d be a great fit.
I am currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) in Florida, where licensure requires completing 1,500 client hours under supervision. With less than 450 hours to go, I am eagerly approaching the next step of becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
I founded Fofoti Counseling to ensure that my practice reflects my values and therapeutic style. As a private practitioner, I offer personable, customized services. I am often asked whether I accept insurance, and I don’t—this choice allows us greater privacy and the flexibility to create a therapeutic plan tailored to your unique needs.
I love learning. This is helpful to my clients because I am always enrolled in some sort of training and my research is informed by the needs of my clients. I am currently training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and CliftonStrengths® Assessment. I integrate story work, polyvagal theory, and attachment theory into my practice. My work is deeply influenced by the contributions of brilliant thinkers like Bessel van der Kolk, Brené Brown, Stephen Porges, Bob Schuchts, Adam Young, Dan Allender, Peter Levine, Dan Siegel, and Pat Ogden.
I have specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Brainspotting—a brain-body-based modality that helps identify, process, and release pain (emotional or physical). Brainspotting works by accessing the autonomic and limbic systems through eye positions and bilateral music, facilitating the processing of both conscious and unconscious experiences.
Having earned my master’s degree in 2022, I bring over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. My background includes helping children and families with special needs, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and other developmental challenges.
