Hi! My name is Dr Cristina Lima, and I am glad to be in a profession in which I am able to make a difference in people’s lives. I have extensive experience as a mental health professional, providing counseling to individuals, couples, and families. I value the therapeutic relationship and the use of personal inner resources for growth, based on a solid Catholic background.

In addition to counseling, I am Board Certified in Neurofeedback. Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, non-drug alternative treatment that helps self-regulate brain activity for the management of ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, and others.

I provide services in English, Spanish and Portuguese. I offer online only video counseling for clients in Texas and Florida, as well as remote neurofeedback.

Bio:
I have more than 20 years of counseling experience. I was born in Brazil where I am a Clinical and Health Psychologist. In the USA, I completed my Master's Degree in Couples and Family Therapy at ETSU, and my Doctoral Degree in Counseling and Counselor Education at UNCG. I am also Board Certified in Neurofeedback.

I offer online counseling only for residents of Florida and Texas.

My professional work is illuminated by my Catholic background. I have been involved in several ministries in the Catholic Church for many years. I am a student in the Master's Program in Theology at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, and I am the author of the book "Entering Into Friendship with God".
