I am in awe of the human person’s incredible capacity for resilience. It has been my great pleasure and honor to walk with people to a path of healing and peace. My favorite thing to witness is the person who moves from pain and suffering to hopefulness and joy. Whether you are looking for someone to offer some guidance in making a life transition or receive healing from a significant trauma, therapy can prove to be quite valuable.
I enjoy working with people of all faiths and cultural backgrounds. I am a practicing Catholic and am happy to incorporate faith into the therapy process for those people interested in this path to change. It is my great delight to work with seminarians, clergy, religious and men and women considering a vocation to religious life.
I have experience in working with most populations but I now focus on helping adolescents, families, couples and adults. Some issues I have helped people in addressing are grief and loss, depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, family conflict and those who are post abortive or dealing with the pain of miscarriage.
I look forward to meeting with you and am happy to answer any questions you may have about my professional background or the therapy process to determine if I am the best clinician to meet your needs.
Hope and Healing Counseling is my new practice, but I have been working in the field of mental health and counseling since 1998. I can offer both in-person and telehealth sessions though I prefer to meet face to face as seems to provide the greatest benefit.
