I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) and am clinically supervised under Meg Wilson, LCDC, LPC-S, NCC for the duration of my associate work.
I help the following people as I am trained in several core areas: Couples/Marriage counseling and families navigating difficult times. I also have expertise in substance use/addiction and eating disorders.
Additionally, I work with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflict, parenting issues, trauma and PTSD. My clinical approach is grounded in Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RODBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT).
I promote responsibilities and awareness that a counselor must uphold while additionally emphasizing the realm of confidentiality, so each of my clients feels that they have a safe space to share their authentic voice, experience hope and personal growth.
I grew up Catholic and went to several Catholic schools. I honor my background and bring what I have learned to my clients. I also chose to change careers – leaving behind a 23-year-career as an executive in management consulting – to become a therapist who could offer hope to adolescents and adults who seek support and guidance today.
For more than two decades, Cassie Menn worked in some of today’s largest, global management consulting firms helping organizations – and their senior leaders – navigate large-scale transformations. Leveraging her Mayo Clinic certification and work with executive coaching, Cassie now brings that to a private practice setting.
When making the career change to becoming a psychotherapist, Cassie immediately knew she wanted to build on her coaching career while also helping couples and individuals in ways that only an advanced degree in clinical psychology would allow. Cassie started her counseling career working in residential care for eating disorders as both a primary and family therapist. From there, Cassie continued to build her expertise and now works with many couples navigating substance use, eating disorders, financial discord and many other life transitions.
Cassie is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) and is clinically supervised under Meg Wilson, LCDC, LPC-S, NCC for the duration of her associate work.
