Hi. I am Dr. Anna.
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice. I also hold an additional license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
My psychotherapy practice focuses on people who have had difficult and trying life experiences. Perhaps you have suffered abuse. Perhaps you lost a friend or loved one. Perhaps you or a loved one suffers from a rare, chronic, or life-threatening illness, and people don't understand. Maybe your present relationships have affected your suffering. Perhaps you are depressed, anxious, or have turned to addictive substances or behaviors to cope. But you want to flourish despite these obstacles. You know that you can, but you feel 'stuck.'
I will provide empathic support and help you to understand how your past has impacted your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, body, relationships, and present reality. I will help you to examine and change unhealthy thinking and relationship patterns. I value the body-mind connection.
I specialize in the treatment of individuals with betrayal and other trauma, sexual addiction, and problems and crises relating to meaning and spirituality. I help people to cope with physical illness. When clients want their faith to be part of their treatment, I accommodate this desire and incorporate work on the virtues and spiritual life.
Although I work with many laypeople, I have had extensive experience helping seminarians, clergy, and religious.
I am licensed as a psychologist in PA, NJ, VA, and can provide online therapy services with clients in many states due to my PsyPACT credential.
Peace and all good.
