INSTRUCTIONS/PROFILE HELP
First time logging in? Please note there are new feature and some new fields that need to be filled in. Click on the print icon to the right to print this page for easy reference.
•1. Click on 'Edit Your Profile' on the Therapists' Corner Menu. The page will open to your CONTACT INFORMATION which is the first tab. Follow directions below to update information on each tab.
•2. CONTACT INFORMATION
Please review each field for accuracy and make any necessary changes.
Please verify or change your username and select a password.
You will use your username to log into the site. You may use your profile as your own personal webpage to give to clients or prospective clients. We recommend you use either your name or your practice name as your username. Your web address will be: www.catholictherapists.com/username
Usernames are unique. Should the username you choose already be in use you will be directed to select a different one.
•3. MESSAGE FROM THERAPIST
You can record an audio message that will play when your profile is visited. To record the audio greeting for your profile, please follow the instructions below:
- Call the phone number: (214) 615-6505 ext. 4699
- You'll be prompted with instructions for recording your audio
- The total recording time for the audio greeting cannot exceed 5 minutes
- Once we've received your audio greeting, it will be reviewed and upon approval added to your profile.

•4. PRACTICE INFO
Please review each field for accuracy and make any necessary corrections. Please note there are several new fields that need to be filled in that may not have been on your original application. Please fill in all fields.
•5. TREATMENT METHOD AND SPECIALTY
Please check off all that apply. You will see the answers that were on your original application already checked off.
•6. CATHOLIC FAITH
Please answer each question. Comments are optional and subject to review. Please note: there are two additional fields that you must complete: Living Together/Cohabitation and New Age Spirituality. You'll notice that those fields are currently blank.
•7. BIO
You may write or copy and paste a brief biography about yourself for prospective clients to get to know you better. We recommend you include a brief description of your background and experience and describe your philosophy and therapeutic approach. Bios are subject to review.
•8. MISCELLANEOUS
Please let us know how you were originally introduced to Catholictherpistst.com.
•9. REFERENCES
If you are already an existing member, your references have already been supplied and received back. You may see the code "PA" in this field, indicating that your references are already in our files. For this reason this field is locked and there is no need for you to fill anything out.
VERY IMPORTANT: When you are finished completing all the sections you must hit UPDATE to save all of your information.
You may hit UPDATE after each tab but it will then take you back to your profile home page. You may then access each tab once again.
ADDING A PHOTO OF YOURSELF:
After you click update to save your information, you will be back at your profile screen.
Click on EDIT and then select UPDATE YOUR IMAGE from the drop down menu to add a photo of yourself.
A window will open that will allow you to browse your own files for an image of yourself. Please note the size limitations. Once you update your image, it will be sent to us for approval before being posted to your profile.
Please note: we selected a stock image as a place holder until you add an image of yourself. If you select the REMOVE IMAGE option when you scroll over EDIT it will display a dark silhouette with the words "Pending Approval" over it. That is simply part of the program that cannot be changed, so if you choose not to display a photo of yourself (it is optional to do so), please leave the image we selected there to avoid confusion as prospective clients would be led to believe that your profile is pending approval, and not just your photo.
